A TLM Mass at the Co-Cathedral in Tallahassee

:: UPDATE :: (See links in the comments)::

As reported to yours truly over the phone by good friend Pietro. He's down there camping with some friends. They went to a Tridentine Mass at the Co-Cathedral at 2:00 pm on Sunday.

How was it?

"Interesting. They had booklets for everyone. They explained everything well. And the priest vested in front of the congregation before Mass, and they explained the various he says while putting on the vestments. Oh, it was a Low Mass. So no singing. Communion took forever.

"The place was packed. Absolutely packed. All ages. There's a lot of curiosity, I guess. This was the first Tridentine Mass they were offering here."

What did you think?

"I'm not sure. Yes it was intriguing. But I guess I'm used to the new Mass. I just can't imagine regularly being at Mass where I don't understand the language."

The others with him? (All college students or recent grads, all active Catholics, but not the kind that would be active in the Catholic blogosphere.) Thumbs up from the classics grad student and the marine science undergrad. "Not quite sure what I think." from the English major.

Here's a run-up story from the Tallahassee Democrat.

And this was also about the Tallahassee Mass:

From the guy who organized it, I think.
