Ordinations coming up

My home diocese ordains a few priests (3? 5? six) next month. I got an invitation in the mail from one of them today, Deacon Andrew Trapp. Along with the invitation he enclosed a copy of the DVD "Fishers of Men" with a note asking that it be given to young Catholic men to encourage vocations to the priesthood. What a wonderful and brilliant gesture!

It's going to be at the Convention Center here in town????

Yep. They've moved the location so that more people can attend. A very good thing too, IMO.

but it's the convention center.... not exactly a setting I would say is condusive to traditional worship... but if more people can attend the better, I may join you

A trade off. I suspect that Fr. Wilson will be in charge of the ceremonies and the Mass will be wonderful and traditional. You didn't attend Bishop Baker's ordination. It was held at the North Charleston center. HUGE facility. Not church-like at all. But a beautiful Mass. Of course, I had a stage-side perspective, having served the Mass ... :)
