Prayer request

... for the family of the sister of friend and blogger St. Lizzy of Cayce. Last week they were involved in a car-wreck (with no life-threatening injuries, thankfully). Then, this shows up in my inbox today:
Today, while waiting in the carpool lane to pick up the older boy, the young daughter (J; the one whose eye has just opened back up) jumped out of the open van door just as van was about to move forward in the line. J was run over by the rear wheel. Her pelvis is broken in two places, but there are no signs of internal injuries. She will be in the hospital for a couple nights, and then will be sent home in an immobilizing cast. But it could be a whole lot worse.
And there's the psychological and emotional toll on everyone involved.

Prayers y'all.

Thanks so much, G. Watching text messages on my and Baby Brother's cells last night, we were able to let Mom know that the Baptists, the Catholics, the Mormons and the Jews were all praying for this little girl.

God has been good. She's home now, and things are better than we could have imagined. I know that this has to be because of so many prayers.

It was also great to see the good care given by several fellow parishioners.
