The Passion of St. Perpetua

Today is the feast of Sts. Perpetua and Felicity, martyrs. Mike Aquilin has a brief write up on the saints, early women martyrs. "Perpetua’s narrative concerns itself with many experiences we don’t often find in the Fathers — childbirth and breastfeeding, for example. We also glimpse how a woman exercised spiritual leadership in the ancient Church." And a link to his talk at KVSS (Catholic Radio) on the Passion of St. Perpetua. Listen!
