[The questions are so darn stupid! I mean what does having a graudate degree have to do with being Democrat? And only Republicans go to church? And why can't I be both anti-abortion and anti death-penalty? Anyway, given just how shoddy the questionnaire is, I have no problem in publicizing the results. I think a better thought out of questionnaire would probably result in me getting voted off the island. Err. Novitiate ... :-)]
You Are 28% Republican |
You're a bit Republican, and probably more conservative than you realize. If you're still voting Democrat, maybe it's time that you stop. |
And
You Are 24% Democrat |
You're a bit Democrat, and probably more liberal than you realize. If you're still voting Republican, maybe it's time that you stop. |

I doubt your political leanings would get you booted off the island! Thanks for sharing.
Oh I know ... I had to crack a joke though. Now my ecclesiological leanings ... hmm ... :-)
Ahem: If you're voting anything, it's time you stop. Unless you live in Wisconsin, Chicago or Miami, voting by non-citizens is still frowned upon. ;-)
For the rest of us, remember to vote early & vote often on Tuesday!
Liz,
misses Texas.
@ Gashwin
I'm really confused. I scored 28% for each!
Hummm.....
@ St. Liz,
Already voted early. Can I please vote again?
@ St. Liz: since a non-citizen attempting to vote in a federal election is a federal offense, I ain't gonna try :)
@ Dogwood: goes to show how messed up the survey is :)
My comments are "If you have anything in common with the ((Republican/Democrat)) party, it's by sheer chance. You're a staunch ((liberal/conservative)), and nothing is going to change that!" Apparently, I'm always firmly on the other side. I have been scored 16% Republcan, 20% Democrat. I suppose that whatever the other 64% is must be what made made me vote for Tsongas, Keyes, and Gov. Moonbeam in various primaries.

"If you have anything in common with the Republican party, it's by sheer chance.
You're a staunch liberal, and nothing is going to change that!"
"You aren't a full fledged Democrat yet, but it's likely the party that fits you best.
You probably consider yourself an independent Democrat. You usually support the party, but you also think for yourself!"
The latter is more accurate than the former, IMO. After going through the candidates for this election, I'm definitely voting mostly - though not strictly - Democrat. And I'll definitely be writing in for at least one.
And plenty of those stereotypes weren't phrased well - especially that abortion/death penalty one.
