I wanna cry

What the heck happened in that game? UGH!!! And that third quarter looked so good. ::: SIGH :::

And don't even get me started on those darn refs and those calls ...

Heather, Napoleon ... great having y'all over to see the game. Haven't had my voice hoarse in a while. :-) And singing the Alma Mater on the steps of the seminary, priceless!

Thank goodness for Fall Back weekend. (Afterwards Adam, who'd watched the game at his place and was sending me increasingly angry text messages. joined us at Colonol Brookes on Monroe for some palliative beers. The place was full of crazily dressed Halloween party goers. And a pathetic band that screeched like a jet engine in heat. The conversation was great though. When we could hear ourselves ... :-)}

You didn't watch the game with us ... you just sent me very many upset text messages ... :)

Speaking of things that may you want to cry, you'd better head over to Dogwood's Dell before I acquire some relics (of a future Vaticanista?) pretty cheaply.

FYI: News 10 began with about 10 mins of the post game press conference. Izzy and I were both shocked to hear "Coach 2nd Coming" actually deign to compliment the team (until the media asked questions about specific plays.)

Nice while it lasted, though.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAH. He wasn't kidding ... he said something about auctioning the stuff on the phone yesterday ...

Oh well. Prayerful detachment from worldly possessions as the Constitutions of the Society calls it.

No such detachment when it gomes to the Gamecocks though. Grrr.

I thought you were talking about the World Series. :) I keep forgetting that it's just an honor to be there. Hopefully the Tigers will have another season in the sun.

Jennifer: The Tigers? I wish they'd keel over and disappear! Clemson SUCKS!! :)

The Tigers - meaning the Detroit Tigers. :) I need to go to confession over the things I said during game four. In fact, watching VT beat Clemson was the ONLY highlight of last Thursday night.

I'm not necessarily a big college football fan, but since moving to the Roanoke area, I've converted to somewhat of a Virginia Tech fan. Truth be told, I would vote for any Michigan team over any other team out of homestate loyalty. I took particular delight when Western Michigan beat UVa. Whoo Hoo!
