Mardi Gras ...

... turned out to be a most busy day, spent mainly setting up new computers, printers and the like, and serving as network administrator (grossly underpaid!) for the office. I'm just thrilled that all the computers can now share files! And printers! Woo hoo!

Went out for a nice carni-vale steak dinner at Yesterday's in Five Points -- and they were sporting the sign to the left on the sidewalk. Don't know if it's funny (maybe if this were New Orleans, but it isn't) or just in poor taste.

Still. Lent is upon us. Repent and believe!

Not in poor taste at all! The Hurricane is one of the premier drinks of Mardi Gras (though they tend to be imbibed in New Orleans year round). But watch out! They're strong.

Oh I know -- I've had a few. On Bourbon street no less. But the pun just seemd a little overdone. Maybe I need to be more thick skinned!
