Pope in the US?

According to Cardinal Keeler plans are underway for a trip in 2007. (Via Amy, via Rocco .... doncha love blogsurfing!).

Oh I wish it's true. Let's see, if all goes well, I will be a novice, even a religious by then. So, mayhap, I might have a reason to be within, say, 10 miles of him, as opposed to 500.

Regardless of being in Washinton, NYC or in the Southeastern US, the Holy Father is thousands of miles away. If you wish to be within 10 miles of his presense, then travel to Rome (do I smell the thoughts of a road trip?).

Even if you were still living in the Southeast in 2007, I'm sure you would travel to the city the Holy Father visits, regardless of being 500 miles away.

Hehe Dogwood ... I guess I meant "miles" in a slightly more figurative sense. As in, as a novice or religious, I might get closer to the Pope than as a layman ... :-D

A road trip to Rome would be delightful ... let me call up Chhiti-chhiti Bang Bang ... :-)
