Back in the US of A

Newark airport, runways 04-22 L & R, shortly after take-off

... what a long flight! Still, going New Delhi to Newark nonstop surely cuts down on the travel time significantly. There was an empty seat next to me, so I could stretch my legs and get some sleep. Fourteen and a half hours in a beautiful Boeing 777-200. A long line at Immigration at 445 am (apparently, a lot more US citizens/residents on the plane than foreigners!). A few hours reading and napping at Newark airport (guess the three-letter airport code describes the place quite appropriately -- EWR) before the Expressjet flight to SC.

It's good to be back y'all!

Now to catch up on some sleep. Oh yes, and shower! :)
